It is more exciting if people are busy in visiting your site. It is somehow consoling to our side if we know people are start to idolize our site. Now here, I'm sharing to you this beautiful idea of Kranthi of about how to track your visitors. And here I have to borrow his write ups for us to know of how to do it.
Kranthi says, as a new blogger(webmaster),it is always interesting to know how many people are visiting your blog/site,pageviews,where they are coming from, which sites are referring, how many are coming via Search Engines(google, yahoo, etc) and what they are typing in the search engines to visit your site. And this is for FREE
He says, there are a lot of this tracking site but there are some who are so friendly to use and can be copied to your sites.
So,how to do this?
Here are the best tracking sources interms of the feautures they provide.
Note:One thing is common for all the tracking sites.First you need to register, and provide the necessary information about your blog/website.Next,they will give you a html code and you have to embed it in your blog.
How to do that in blogger?
1.Sign in to your blogger dashboard.
2.Click on the 'layout' link next to your blog name.
3.Click on the "Add a Page element"
4.Select "html/javascript" and past the code they provide and SAVE THE CHANGES.
From then, your blog will be tracked and you can check your blog stats from time to time after logging in to your registrate's website.
So,here are the good ones:-
Sitemeter.com:This one is one of the Most Popular tracking source. This is as simple as 123. Just create an account, copy the code from your account and paste it in your blog as suggested above.

Histats.com:Unlike the Sitemeter which is very simple, this site will have very cool and animated counters.
Tracking is updated every 5 minutes.I personally using this site for my blogs.Like Sitemeter,
this is also have the option to keep your site stats PRIVATE.
They will provide Animated graphs about your site visitors and fully animative.
You can register with them here
Statcounter.com:Same here!As in the name,it is a stats counter.It is fast,free,and quick loading.

Judgement Day! (May 10, 2010)
What I'm inserting now is not a guide or a scheme of how to do the best of your blogs, but it's somehow, for me, the best thing to talk about.
May 10, 2010 is the Judgment day of the electorial candidates from the President of the nation down to the Local Government level. The fate of these candidates depend on the thumb of the people. It is the peoples choice. It is the People's power. Starting now, I sense the thrembling of the knees of these candidates. Some now are kneeling and praying that they will be luckily chosen by the people. And some are planning to do some magic tricks in this coming election. Probably, they hired now the so-called "quack-doctor" to manipulate their winning. But the election's fate precisely does'nt depend in the hand of the "quack-doctors". It is indeed in the hand of the People. The glorious winners are being ratified only in the rightful choice of the people.
God bless us all. God blesses Philippines.

One thing that is consider mortal sin to blogging is, if you directly paste adsense code in blog template, it will give you BX error. So, you need to first convert the code....and this tool will do just that. Just put your ADSENSE code in the box and it will generate the encoded code which you can put anywhere you want in your template.
You can also use this tool for any other codes too.. (brite, chitika, etc)
I'll write a detailed post about how to add adsense inside blog posts in different positions soon..

Favicon on Blogger
It is good for us to customize our template so that people may look at it as your own and branded as original. Original in the sense that you revise it suits to your wants.
Here you can personalize your blog by changing the Icon up in the domain search engine/browser address. This what we called changing the Favicon. The visibility of Favicon would simply means that it is yours to own.
Here are some guidelines that we can apply.
I applied it already. Just see at the top of the search engine/brower address.
How to put Favicon on Blogger
Favicon is an icon associated with a particular web/site/blog and typically displayed in the address bar of a browser viewing the site.
Example of Favicon
When we entering blogger URL, we'll see "B" letter icon in address bar. That's favicon. It means it's a blogger icon.
How to Create Favicon in Blogger?
Here's the step how to create favicon in blogger
• Create your own icon image using image editor such as photoshop, gimp, or any other editor. I can't use photoshop? Simply, you can search an icon in internet. Choose maximum 32x32 pixel for best view
• Upload to your imagehosting, such as imageshack, photobucket. You'll need its direct link url
• Open your blogger dashboard. Go to Layout>Edit HTML
• Copy this code
"<""link href=""'""YOU CAN PUT HERE YOUR UPLOADED IMAGE URL" "rel=""'shortcut icon'""/>"
• Change the BOLD ITALIC TEXT "YOU CAN PUT HERE YOUR UPLOADED IMAGE URL" to your uploaded image URL
• Put that code before "<""b"":skin"">""<""!""[CDATA[""/*"
• Save
• Preview your blog.
NOTE: when copying the code eliminate the " so that it will function well.

How to put scrolling text/image in your blog? MARQUEE
There are two secrets in doing blogging that is first, PATIENCE. Patience is your vehicle in continuing your blog. Secondly, you have to fuel your vehicle with PASSION so that you'll be unstoppable. These two are your equipments in pursuing your blogging.
I would like to thanks Linda (www.multiplydesign.multiply.com) for sharing with us her expertise in MARQUEE.
Here's the Guide.
How to put /moving text and Images? (MARQUEE)
Instructions:
In one line you have to type this:
1. Open it with "<"
2. marquee direction = "left"
3. scrollamount = "3" or any scroll amount you want.
It depends upon your taste and design of your blog or site.
4. close it with ">"
5. then put your own text; replace MARQUEE TEXT.
6. close it with "<""/""marquee"">".
See the sample down.
Direction dictates which direction your marquee will go. You can use up, down, left or right.
Scroll amount will dictate how fast your marquee will move. The higher the number, the faster the scroll.
If you want to enclose big text or different-colored fonts within a Marquee, the Marquee code has to be outside the font and color and bold-faced HTML code, like this:
If you want to edit the size of your font just follow the instructions:
Instructions:
1. Open it with "<"
2. after that type "font="10"; 10 stands for pixel. you can change that if you want.
3. if you like to put a color of your text just put "color="green" after the "font="10"
4. close it with "<""/""font"">"; then follow the instruction # 5 until 9.
5. marquee direction = "left"
6. scrollamuount = "3" or any scroll amount you want.
It depends upon your taste and design of your blog or site.
7. close it with ">"
8. then put your own text; replace MARQUEE TEXT.
9. lastly, you have to close it with "<""/""marque"">".
You can also replace the MARQUEE TEXT into IMAGE you like to put.

I happen to browse this blogging guide in one of my folders. I remember that I download it from the known and great guru of blogging. Sorry that I didn't record his name. Anyway, if he reads this blogging guide he must leave a comment and presents his self for the record. In general, we have to consider this stuff because it's great and easy to follow. Once again thank you to the unknown author.
Before writing a post
1. Think of any topic. To have enough sources of factual information, research.
2. Think of your keyword. What is a keyword? Get a catchy and creative title that will encourage, persuade, and tempt your readers to read your post. Great titles may start with:
• How to …
• What is …
• What if…
• What to Do when…
• My Top Seven bah-blah-blah…
During writing your post
Always start your post with an introduction. It may be a follow-up question to your title. Whatever. If you jump right straight to the meat of the topic, your readers misses the appetizer. Actually, this is really up to you. Be creative enough to make your readers read your post further.
Using Keywords
• Use your keywords in post and page titles
• Use your keywords in URL of page
• Use your keywords in outbound links
• Use your keywords in bold tags
• Use your keywords in heading tags
• Use your keywords in image alt tags
• Use your keywords throughout your post
• Use your keywords in meta tags
Make sure you mention your keywords to 5-15% in your whole article. If you exceed, search engines will see keyword-stuffing. Besides, who wants to read an article with words repeated again and again? Even a first-grader can notice that. You need not check on your keywords religiously while writing your post; just write with the keyword guiding you through.
Useful Questions to Ask Yourself when Writing a Post
• What will people type into Google if they search the topic that I’m writing?
• What are the results when I type these keywords into Google?
• Will Google find my post relevant regarding my chosen keywords?
Using Numbers and Bullets
Highlight important points using numbers or bullets. This technique avoids your post being unfriendly to the eyes and confusing to your readers.
Using links
In every post, provide enough relevant links that direct readers to a source website (outcoming links), your other blogs (outcoming links but incoming link to your “other” blog), or your other posts (link within). These links may also direct your readers to your advertising network.
After Writing your Post
Now here comes SEO:
1. Use Technorati Tags to make your post searchable in Technorati.
2. Optimize your blog for search engines by using the All-in-one SEO pack if you are using Wordpress.
3. Submit your post to Article Submission website(s) so your post can generate enough backlinks. Use Submitterbot.com for easier submission to 34 articles. Take note though, your article is subject for approval. Subscribe to their newsletters so you can learn and be updated on their tips and tricks. Their helpful information can polish your English writing skills too.
4. Ping the world. In this way, web directories know that your blog is updated.
Thanks for reading. Hope you found this post helpful. Please leave a comment so we may know what you think.
